BLBG: Nickel Rises From 3-Year Low in London; Copper, Aluminum Gain

Oct. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Nickel rose in London, rebounding from a three-year low. Copper and aluminum also advanced.
Nickel for delivery in three months gained $250, or 1.9 percent, to $13,450 a metric ton as of 2:20 p.m. local time. Earlier it lost as much as 4.2 percent to $12,650 a metric ton, the lowest since Dec. 1, 2005.
Aluminum jumped $45 to $2,300 a ton and copper increased $166, or 3.2 percent, to $5,406 a ton, and tin gained $150 to $15,050 a ton. Zinc rose $78, or 5.5 percent, to $1,508 a ton and lead added $60 to $1,635 a ton.
