RTRS: TREASURIES-10-year note yields off highs after debt auctions
NEW YORK, Oct 9 (Reuters) - Benchmark 10-year Treasury note yields backed off session highs on Thursday after auctions of scarce debt issues under a new Treasury program.
Demand was better than at similar sales on Wednesday.
Ten-year U.S. Treasury notes were trading one point lower in price for a yield of 3.77 percent from 3.66 percent late on Wednesday, while 2-year Treasury notes were 6/32 lower in price for a yield of 1.69 percent from 1.57 percent. (Reporting by Chris Reese; Editing by James Dalgleish)
