FX: Silver fixes higher, gold climbs in Europe |

- * Silver fixes at 1,089.00 cents, above its previous fix of
1,061.00 cents.
* Spot silver rises to $10.84/10.91 an ounce at 1128 GMT
from $10.66 in late New York trade on Monday.
* Forward rates on Reuters pages indicated at 2.56, 2.70,
2.73, 2.54 and 2.46 percent for one, two, three, six and 12
months respectively.
* Gold climbs to $844.80/847.30 an ounce from $830.80 an
ounce in late New York trade on Monday.
* Bullion rises in line with a broader recovery in the
commodity and equity markets as a U.S. plan to pump $250 billion
into U.S. banks cheers investors, and as the dollar weakens.
* Platinum rises to $1,019/1,039 an ounce from $978.50.
* Palladium climbs to $201.50/209.50 an ounce from
$196.50.
