BLBG: U.S. Treasuries Fall; Two-Year Note Yield Rises to 1.60 Percent

Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Treasuries fell, led by two-year notes.
The decline pushed the two-year yield 6 basis points higher to 1.60 percent as of 8:44 a.m. in London. The 2 percent security due September 2010 fell 4/32, or $1.25 per $1,000 face amount, to 100 25/32. The yield on the 10-year note climbed 3 basis points, or 0.03 percentage point, to 3.98 percent. Yields move inversely to bond prices.
