NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures fell slightly in early North America trading Thursday, after rising to as high as $852.10 an ounce overnight. Gold for December delivery fell $4.50, or 0.5%, to $834.50 an ounce in electronic trading. The benchmark contract had lost nearly $70 in the previous five sessions.
