MUMBAI: Gold prices showed a downward trend globally on Friday. Gold in overseas markets plunged by $16.43, or 2 per cent, to $788.17 an ounce. In Mumbai the yellow metal suffered the most by falling Rs. 575 to Rs. 12,630 per 10 gram.
