Mumbai (PTI): Prices of nickel, lead, copper armiture and copper sheets cutting firmed up in a mixed non-ferrous metal market here on Monday due to good industrial demand coupled with higher global advices.
While, zinc, aluminium, brass and copper utensils declined on lack of demand from industrial users.
Nickel rose by Rs 15 per kilo to Rs 745 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 730, lead by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 100, copper armiture by Rs 3 per kilo to rs 312, copper sheets cutting by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 308 and copper scrap heavy by a rupee per kilo to Rs 315.
However, Zinc dropped by Rs 8 per kilo to Rs 82, brass sheets cutting by Rs 8 per kilo to Rs 228, brass utensils scrap by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 215, aluminium ingots by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 124, aluminium utensils scrap by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 101 and copper utensils scrap by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 289.
