LONDON -- The U.S. dollar was mostly higher against other major currencies in European trading today. Gold rose.
The euro traded at US$1.3302, down from US$1.3439 late Friday in New York.
Other dollar rates:
— 101.52 Japanese yen, down from 101.75
— 1.1508 Swiss francs, up from 1.1337
— 1.1938 Canadian dollars, up from 1.1839
The British pound was quoted at US$1.7124, down from US$1.7334
Gold traded in London at US$795.00 per troy ounce, up from US$784.50 late Friday.
