LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Car rental company Dollar Thrifty Automotive said Wednesday that it expects to report a profit in the third quarter and that it also expects to end the quarter with an unrestricted cash balance in excess of $200 million, up from $80 million at the end of June. The group said it benefited from a cash dividend from its vehicle finance subsidiary. As of Sept. 30, the company said it also remains in compliance with all of its financial covenants.
