Pepper futures today extended early losses on heavy pressure by spot market sentiments as prices dropped heavily despite stable global cues.
For far month March contract drowned sharply by Rs 524 to Rs 12810 per quintal at NCDEX counter. While April contract trades at Rs 12900 per quintal, registering a low of 3.97 percent.
Meanwhile spot prices of pepper at Kochi mandi stood at Rs 13870.25 per 100 kg in the beginning of the month October. The prices plunged during month heavily on lower export demand.
