MILAN — Fueled by the growing demand for platinum wedding bands, the Platinum Guild International has organized an exhibition to display 23 nuptial rings designed by renowned designers in fashion, jewelry and interiors.
Fashion designers who for once swapped fabrics with precious metal include Alberta Ferretti; Antonio Marras, who has a namesake line besides being the creative director at Kenzo; Fulvia Visconti Ferragamo for Salvatore Ferragamo; Debora Sinibaldi, and the late Gianfranco Ferré, since this was one of his last projects.
