TORONTO - Gold was quoted at C$929 bid (US$729) and C$930 asked (US$730) at the close of trading Friday by Thomas Cook, a major gold and foreign exchange dealer. At the close, silver was quoted at C$11.38 bid (US$8.93) and C$11.78 US($9.23).
