Oct. 24--The price of North Slope oil sold on West Coast open markets closed today at $60.10 a barrel, down $3.69 for the day.
U.S. natural gas, at the Lower 48's Henry Hub, was $6.29 per million BTU today, down $0.46.
Gold closed at $729.10 per ounce today on the New York Mercantile Exchange, up $15.80.
Zinc closed at $0.5137 per pound today, down 2.86 cents.
