Silver fixes at 909.00 cents, above its previous fix of
901.00 cents.
* Spot silver rises to $9.09/9.19 an ounce at 1209 GMT from $9.01 in late New York trade on Monday.
* Forward rates on Reuters pages indicated at 1.73, 1.82, 1.81, 1.86 and 2.01 percent for one, two, three, six and 12 months respectively.
* Gold firms to $748.70/751.20 an ounce from $729.60 an ounce in late New York trade on Monday.
* Bullion climbs as the dollar softens against the euro and firmer equities reduce selling of gold to cover losses on other markets. Oil prices also tick higher.
* Platinum rises to $806.50/826.50 an ounce from $772.50.
* Palladium quoted at $172/182 an ounce against $167.50.
