TOI: Gold jumps 2% to near 1-week high on oil, euro
SINGAPORE: Gold rose for a fourth straight day on Thursday, gaining around 2% as strong oil prices and a firmer euro against the dollar spurred safe-haven buying.
Gold was trading at $767.55 an ounce by 0227 GMT, up $13.25 an ounce from New York's notional close on Wednesday, when it hit a one-week high at $773.40 an ounce. Gold rose as high as $769.40 on Thursday.
