LONDON, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Zinc and tin prices fell more than 5 percent on Friday, as recession worries triggered a commodity sell-off across the board, traders said.

Zinc for three-months delivery on the London Metal Exchange sank to $1,100 per tonne but was at $1,105 per tonne by 0843 GMT versus Thursday's close of $1,160 a tonne.

Tin tumbled 6.8 percent to $13,600 and was last at $13,800 versus $14,600 on Thursday.
