MS: Markets trade positive; Sensex maintains 10K mark
 
Bulls continue their reign since the opening session. Heavy buying is seeing across BSE realty, bankex and capital goods sectors which are up 8.10%, 7.01% and 6.31% respectively.

BSE Midcap (4.38%) and Small cap (4.22%) are also trading in positive.

Currently, the 30-share index Sensex is trading up 447.06 points, or 4.57%, at 10,235.12, after touching a high of 10,358.63 and a low of 10,153.47. Meanwhile the broad based Nifty is trading higher by 123.00 points, or 4.26%, at 3,008.60, after hitting a high of 3,044.40 and a low of 2,885.40. (10.58 a.m.)

The 30-share index, BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 421.31 points, at 10,209.37. In the previous day session, the Sensex closed with a gain of 743.55 points, or 8.22%, while the NSE Nifty climbed by 188.55 points, or 6.99%.

Overall market breadth is positive. Out of the total 2,178 shares traded at BSE, 1,704 advanced, 429 declined while 45 remained unchanged.

Major gainers in the 30-share index were D L F (10.15%), Tata Motors (9.49%), Reliance Energy (9.10%), I C I C I Bank (8.30%), Hindalco Industries (7.72%), and State Bank Of India (7.60%).

On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra (0.36%) was the biggest loser in the Sensex.
