KARACHI: The value of rupee as against dollar in the inter-bank lost by paisa 10, as dollar was seen selling at Rs81.
Forex market dealers said that the value rupee was seen under pressure from the very onset of the trading today, as dollar was being bought at Rs80.90 and sold at Rs81. It may be recalled that the value of rupee was seen to have gained during last week by paisa 70 and it had closed at Rs80.90.
Forex market dealers said that following the positive measures taken by the State Bank the rupee value was seen stabilizing. Rupee against dollar in the open market today was seen gaining by paisa 30 and it was being bought at Rs82.50 and sold at Rs83.
