Mumbai, Nov 3 Prices of nickel, copper, lead and brass utensils scrap firmed up smartly in a mixed non-ferrous metal market here today due to good demand from industrial users on the back of firm global cues.
While brass sheets cutting, aluminium and zinc moved down on lack of industrial support.
Nickel shot up by Rs 30 per kilo to Rs 790 from last weekend's closing level of Rs 760.
Copper utensils scrap also firmed up by Rs 20 per kilo to Rs 235, copper sheets cutting by Rs 19 per kilo to Rs 259, copper armiture by Rs 14 per kilo to Rs 264, copper scrap heavy by Rs 13 per kilo Rs 268, copper cable scrap by Rs 12 per kilo to Rs 272, copper wire bar by Rs 12 per kilo to Rs 300, brass utensils scrap by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 180 and lead by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 90.
However, brass sheets cuttings fell by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 185, aluminium utensils scrap by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 94, aluminium ingots by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 118 and zinc by a rupee per kilo to Rs 77.
