RTRS: ollar gains vs yen ahead Of US stock market open
NEW YORK, Nov 3 (Reuters) - The U.S. dollar gained against the yen and trimmed losses against the euro on Monday in safe haven buying ahead of the U.S. stock market open.
U.S. stock futures showed a flat open for U.S. equity markets after overnight gains in markets elsewhere indicating concerns remain about the health of the global economy.
The euro was last up 0.1 percent against the dollar at $1.2745, well off the session high of $1.2898 . The dollar was up 0.1 percent against the yen at 98.570 yen , off the session low of 98.230 yen.
Thin liquidity exacerbated moves ahead of a week of U.S. data, a U.S. presidential election and expected rate cut decisions from the European Central Bank, the Bank of England and the Reserve Bank of Australia, analysts said. (Reporting by Nick Olivari; Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
