DJ MARKET TALK: NY Copper Prices Dwindle On Demand, Inventories
Copper futures are weaker on a continuing negative
demand outlook, says Larry Young, senior trader with Infinity Futures. Another
sizeable build in LME inventories is also pressuring the metal, he says.
"Technically, the chart is just very bearish," he says, adding that traders
aren't trying to go against that trend at the moment. Comex Dec copper is down
2.1 cents at $1.8080 a pound. (MWH)
