LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Monday afternoon. Gold rose. The euro traded at $1.2748, slightly up from $1.2746 late Friday in New York. Other dollar rates: _98.09 Japanese yen, down from 98.11 _1.1797 Swiss francs, up from 1.1774 _1.1938 Canadian dollars, up from 1.1878 The British pound was quoted at $1.5606, down from $1.5701. Gold traded in London at $753.00 per troy ounce, up from $735.25 late Friday.
