AP: Dollar mixed, gold down in morning trading |

LONDON (AP) -- The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Thursday morning. Gold fell.
The euro traded at $1.2501, down from $1.2512 late Wednesday in New York.
Other dollar rates:
-95.54 Japanese yen, up from 95.52
-1.1902 Swiss francs, up from 1.1866
-1.2347 Canadian dollars, down from 1.2368
The British pound was quoted at $1.4928, up from $1.4890.
Gold traded in London at US$714.00 per troy ounce, down from US$724.75 late Wednesday.
