MW: Stock futures point to mostly lower open after jobs data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures tilted lower on Thursday after the government reported a worse-than-expected rise in jobless claims. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were down 25 points to 8,255. Those for the S&P 500 ) were up fractionally at 853.9, while Nasdaq 100 futures were down 10.25 at 1,153.25.
