RTRS: BSE Sensex turns negative after rising 3 pct
BANGALORE (Reuters) - The BSE Sensex turned negative on Friday, after having risen as much as 3 percent earlier, amid gloomy global economic and corporate earnings outlooks.
Reliance Industries and outsourcer Infosys Technologies led the losses.
By 10:40 a.m., the 30-share BSE index was down 0.31 percent, or 29.60 points, at 9,506.73, although 19 of its stocks were gaining.
The 50-share NSE index was up 0.22 percent at 2,854.60.
