MUMBAI, Nov 14 (Reuters) - India's gold prices moved up on Friday but demand remained strong due to the wedding season, dealers said.
"Prices have moved up a bit but people are still coming to buy gold for their wedding requirements," said Nilesh Shah of Shubham Jewels.
The wedding season, which started this month, will continue till early 2009.
However, supply is not plenty due to firm demand and traders are paying some premium to get the yellow metal, said a dealer with a large private bank.
