MW: U.S. stock futures point to opening drop after economic data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures remained lower early Tuesday after the government said producer prices fell a record 2.8% in October, the most since 1947, as gasoline prices plummeted. Down 37 points ahead of the data, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were more recently down 48 points at 8,211. Those for the S&P 500 were off 4.4 points at 846.6, while Nasdaq 100 futures fell 1 points to 1,157.5.
