MW: U.S. gasoline prices dip closer toward $2 a gallon

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- The average retail cost for a gallon of unleaded gasoline in the U.S. fell 2 cents to $2.07 a gallon in the last day, according to the AAA Faily Fuel Gauge Report. A month ago, gasoline sold for $2.95 a gallon. A year ago it sold for $3.10 a gallon. In Oklahoma, gasoline now averages $1.85 a gallon. In Missouri, it sells for $1.77 a gallon. In Hawaii, gasoline sells for $3 a gallon.
