LONDON (AP) _ The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Wednesday morning. Gold fell. The euro traded at $1.2619, up from $1.2579 late Tuesday in New York. Other dollar rates: —96.80 Japanese yen, up from 96.46 —1.2053 Swiss francs, up from 1.2043 —1.2355 Canadian dollars, down from 1.2375 The British pound was quoted at $1.5005, up from $1.4916. Gold traded in London at $737.75 per troy ounce, down from $738.00 late Tuesday.
