MW: Crude supply up, distillate supply down: Energy Dept.

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - Crude supplies were up 1.6 million barrels for the week ended Nov. 14 to stand at 313.5 million, according to the Energy Department Wednesday. Motor gasoline supplies climbed 500,000 barrels to 198.6 million. Distillate stocks fell by 1.5 million to 126.9 million in the latest week. Refinery utilization was at 84.9% of capacity, compared with 84.6% a week earlier. Following the news, December crude was up 29 cents at $54.68 a barrel on Globex.
