LONDON — The U.S. dollar was mostly lower against other major currencies in European trading Monday morning.
The euro traded at $1.2660, up from $1.2587 late Friday in New York.

Tokyo - 95.24 Japanese yen, down from 95.84
Zurich - 1.2168 Swiss francs, down from 1.2225
London - 1.2690 Canadian dollars, up from 1.2685
The British pound was quoted at $1.4976, up from $1.4908.
In Toronto, the Canadian dollar opened at 78.88 cents US, up 0.58 of a cent from Friday. The U.S. dollar stood at C$1.2678 cents Cdn, down 0.94 of a cent.
The New York Mercantile Exchange gold futures closed on Friday at US$791.80, up $43.10.
