ND: US dollar falls against majors amid existing home sales data
US currency declined further against major currencies after the release of existing home sales data in New York morning trading on Monday.
According to a report released by the US National Association of Realtors on Monday that existing home sales fell 3.1 percent to an annual rate of 4.98 million units in October from a revised 5.14 million in September.
Extending last session's downtrend, the greenback is now trading at fresh multi-day lows of 1.2845 against the euro, 1.2281 versus the loonie, 1.2005 against the franc, 0.6198 versus the Aussie, 0.5472 against the kiwi and 1.5119 versus the pound. The buck closed Friday's New York session at 1.2591 against the euro, 1.2230 versus the franc, 0.6330 against the Aussie, 0.5369 versus the kiwi and 1.4894 against the pound.
