AFP: US dollar mixed, gold down in morning trading
The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Monday morning. Gold fell.
The euro traded at $1.2661, down from $1.2708 late Friday in New York.

The British pound was quoted at $1.5044, down from $1.5412.
Gold traded in London at $795.50 per troy ounce, down from US$814.50 late Friday.
