The price of North Slope oil sold on West Coast open markets closed today at $44.78 a barrel, down $5.15 for the day.
U.S. natural gas, at the Lower 48's Henry Hub, was $6.49 per million BTU today, unchanged.
Gold closed at $774.60 per ounce today on the New York Mercantile Exchange, down $41.60.
Zinc closed at $0.6078 per pound, unchanged for the day.
