MW: European shares move lower; Infineon Technologies slumps

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- European shares declined in early trading on Wednesday as oil majors fell and Infineon Technologies slumped 23.9% after it reported a wider quarterly loss and warned that first-quarter revenue will fall 30%. The German DAX 30 index fell 1.5% to 4,464.68, the French CAC-40 index lost 1.2% to 3,115.81 and the U.K. FTSE 100 index dropped 0.5% to 4,102.92.
