NEW YORK, Dec 5 (Reuters) - The Dow and S&P 500 fell by 3 percent on Friday, as a bleak jobs report showed a further deterioration of the U.S economy.
* Top drags include energy shares, with oil prices sliding sharply lower on concerns the recession will curb energy demand.
* U.S front-front crude CLc1 was off $1.75 to $41.92 a barrel.
* Boeing (BA.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) is among the top drags on the Dow on concerns it will delay airplane deliveries. Exxon Mobil (XOM.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) shares fell 3 percent to $73.69 while Chevron (CVX.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) shed 3.5 percent to $69.25.
