LONDON — The U.S. dollar was mostly lower against other major currencies in European trading Monday morning. Gold fell. The euro traded at $1.2872, up from $1.2691 late Friday in New York. Other dollar rates: -93.23 Japanese yen, up from 93.12 -1.2119 Swiss francs, down from 1.2224 -1.2480 Canadian dollars, down from 1.2797 The British pound was quoted at $1.4913, up from $1.4698. Gold traded in London at $772.25 per troy ounce, up from $749.00 late Friday.
