NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures traded flat early Tuesday, as U.S. dollar strength capped gains. Gold for February delivery was up 20 cents to $769.50 an ounce in electronic trading on Globex. On Monday, gold rose $17.10 to end at $769.30 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
