RTRS: Europe stock index futures up, track Asian market
LONDON, Dec 10 (Reuters) - European futures pointed to a higher open on Wednesday, tracking the Asian market, which rallied overnight on optimism governments worldwide will bail out ailing sectors and launch fiscal stimulus plans.
At 0712 GMT, futures for the DJ Euro Stoxx 50 STXEc1, for Germany's DAX FDXc1 and for France's CAC FCEc1 were up 0.3-0.6 percent.
Asian stocks rallied 3 percent amid hopes governments will come to the rescue of troubled industries, despite U.S. stocks falling overnight on a series of profit warnings.
The White House and U.S. Congressional Democrats reached a tentative agreement on a bailout for beleaguered U.S. auto makers, which could buoy European auto stocks, while in Asia, hopes are rising for government-led help for key sectors such as technology.
