UK: Gold climbs 3 pct on rising oil, weaker dollar
LONDON (Reuters) - Gold climbed 3 percent on Wednesday to a session high of $798.70, its strongest level in 10 days, as oil prices rallied ahead of U.S. stockpiles data later in the session and the dollar weakened against the euro.
Spot gold was quoted at $798.10/800.10 an ounce at 1:44 p.m., against $775.50 in New York late on Tuesday.
