RTRS: India copper, gold seen opening up on global cues
MUMBAI, Dec 15 (Reuters) - India copper may open higher on Monday tracking overseas markets, an analyst said.
The benchmark February contract MCCG9 on the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) on Saturday closed at 161.65 rupees per kg. It may open at around 163 rupees.
The red metal may trade between 161-169 rupees through the day.
December zinc MZIZ8 ended at 51.70 rupees per kg, and lead for December delivery MLDZ8 closed 49.85 rupees per kg.
GOLD:
Futures may open higher in line with world markets, an analyst said.
The benchmark February contract MAUG9 on the MCX may open at 12,830 rupees per 10 grams, the analyst said, adding the contract may trade in the range of 12,830-13,050 rupees.
The contract ended at 12,800 rupees on Saturday.
