NAS: Dollar mostly down, gold up in morning trading
LONDON – The U.S. dollar was mostly lower against other major currencies in European trading Thursday morning. Gold rose.
The euro traded at $1.4610, up from $1.4349 late Wednesday in New York.

The British pound was quoted at $1.5497, up from $1.5476.
Gold traded in London at $872.50 per troy ounce, up from $838.25 late Wednesday.
