MW: Oil rises first day in four after dropping 33% in month
Crude-oil futures rose Friday for the first session in four as traders bought the contracts on the heels of their 33% slump this month. Crude for February delivery rose 85 cents, or 2.4%, to $36.20 a barrel in early electronic trading. It slumped 9.3% in the previous session. Oil is poised for its biggest yearly loss this year.
