ENM: US dollar mostly lower in European morning trading
LONDON: The US dollar was mostly lower against other major currencies in European trading Wednesday morning. Gold fell.
The euro traded at $1.4072, up from $1.4058 late on Tuesday in New York.
Other dollar rates:—90.28 Japanese yen, down from 90.38—1.0601 Swiss francs, up from 1.0598—1.2181 Canadian dollars, down from 1.2212 The British pound was quoted at $1.4506, up from $1.4409. Gold traded in London at $865.00 per troy ounce, down from $869.75 late on Tuesday.
