JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South African stocks fell more than 2.5 percent on Tuesday as they tracked weaker global equity markets and as a weaker platinum price hit miners of the precious metal.
The Top-40 index of blue-chip stocks fell 2.51 percent to 19,571.96 points by 0816 GMT while the All-share index fell 2.17 percent to 21,702.51 points.
