RTRS: US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Futures drop as JPMorgan boost fades
U.S. stock index futures resumed their descent on Thursday as an initial boost from JPMorgan's (JPM.N) quarterly results proved short-lived and worries about the health of the financial sector persisted.
* Additional headwinds emerged from the technology front after Apple Inc (AAPL.O) announced that Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs was taking a leave of absence due to health issues.
* S&P 500 SPc1 futures were off 7 points, and were below fair value, while Dow futures DJc1 declined 61 points, and Nasdaq futures NDc1 dropped 17.75 points. (Reporting by Ellis Mnyandu; Editing by James Dalgleish)
