BLBG: Crude Oil Advances Above $41 a Barrel as European Stocks Rise
Crude oil advanced as European stocks rose and U.S. index futures climbed as Electrolux AB and Aviva Plc posted better-than-expected results.
Crude for March delivery gained as much as 69 cents, or 1.7 percent, to $41.47 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantil Exchange. The contract traded at $41.37 a barrel at 10:24 a.m. London time.
