Industrial production across the euro zone saw a monthly fall of 2.6% in December for an annualized decline of 12%, the statistical agency Eurostat reported Thursday. The fall exceeded forecasts for a 2.5% monthly decline and a 9.9% annual fall. Eurostat also revised down November production figures to show a 2.2% monthly decline and an 8.5% decline compared to the same month the previous year. Eurostat previously estimated a 1.6% monthly decline in November and 7.7% annual fall.
