A mixed trend was noticed on the non-ferrous metal market here today.
Nickel, copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and copper wire bar declined in the absence of industrial demand.
While, tin, lead, zinc, brass, copper utensils scrap and copper sheets cutting moved up on good industrial buying support.
Nickel dropped by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 660 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 670.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and copper wire bar also ended slightly lower by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 215, Rs 213, Rs 211 and Rs 243 respectively.
However, Tin rose by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 720 and lead by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 89.
Copper utensils scrap, copper sheets cutting, brass utensils scrap, brass sheets cutting and zinc also ended higher at Rs 202, Rs 208, Rs 168, Rs 170 and Rs 78 respectively.
