India gold futures extended the previous session's gains to hit a new record high of 15,569 rupees per 10 grams on strong global leads and a weak rupee.
At 10:51 a.m., April gold traded 0.41 percent higher at 15,555 rupees per 10 grams, after gaining more than 5 percent in the last session.
